Carol was raised in Olney, Oklahoma and lives in Coalgate, Oklahoma. She attended Murray State College, earning her RN degree in 1997, and then went on to Oklahoma Wesleyan University, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in the Science of Nursing in 2000. She earned a Master’s in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2017. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Carol has two children, Clay and Lexie.
