Medical Providers - Tishomingo Office

Paul Reel, D.O.

Paul Reel, D.O., was born and raised in Texas. He graduated from East Texas State University and went to medical school at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth. Upon completion of medical school he entered and completed his Internship and Residency in Family Practice in Kingsport, TN. From there he began in private practice in Davis, OK and was there for eight years before coming to Tishomingo. He has been blessed with the opportunity to do mission work in Africa and Cambodia, as well as Mexico and here in the States. His passion is serving God and enjoying his wife and four children.

Hans Fichtenberg, D.O.

Hans Fichtenberg, D.O. was born in East Prussia, Germany and came to America for his education. He attended Anderson University, a Christian school in Anderson, Indiana. He attended medical school at Kansas City Health Sciences Medical Center and graduated with a D.O. degree in 1963. His Internship and Residency in General Surgery were at Tulsa Regional Medical Center. He was in private practice from 1967-2004. He is Board Certified in General Surgery and a Fellow in the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons. His love for medicine, patient care and contact brought him to FHCSO. He loves playing tennis, is very active in his church and loves traveling with his wife. He has four children and four grandchildren.

Glenda Cross, APRN-CNP

Glenda was born and raised in Atoka County, but has called Bryan County home for the past 28 years. Glenda attended Murray State College and earned her RN degree in 1997, but then returned to school to further her education by earning a Bachelors' from East Central University in Ada in 2000 and then a Masters' of Nursing from the University of Phoenix in 2005. She enjoyed hands on patient care and teaching so she returned to the University of Texas and earned her Post-Masters' degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2008. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She enjoys; spending time with her husband, children and grandson, as well as camping and shopping.

Jessica Pickens, APRN-CNP

Jessica was born in Texas but has called Durant, OK her home since she was 11 years old. Jessica became a LPN in 2007 and furthered her education with the University of Oklahoma in 2009 by becoming a RN and obtaining a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. In 2014, she received a Masters of Science in Nursing from Saint Joseph's College of Maine. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). In her spare time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her daughter, enjoying friends and family, working out, and traveling.

Carol Maxwell, APRN-CNP

Carol was raised in Olney, OK and lives in Coalgate. She attended Murray State College, earning her RN degree in 1997 and then on to Oklahoma Wesleyan University, obtaining a Bachelors' degree in the Science of Nursing in 2000. She earned a Masters' in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2017. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Carol has two children, Clay and Lexie.

Ralph Falconer, PA-C

Ralph is originally from Del City, Oklahoma. He graduated from Del City High School in 1974. Ralph served in the US Air Force from July 1975-December 1004 as a medic, paramedic, and Physician Assistant. He is a 1983 graduate of OSU-OKC with his ADN and went on to continue his education at OU-College of Medicine/USAF to become a Physician Assistant in 1986. He is nationally certified as a PA-C. Ralph is married to his wife Debbie and they have three children; Jason, Jeremy, and Jessica. In his spare time Ralph enjoys riding his Harley, camping, shooting, and Civil War Reenacting.

Jon Weslee Haney, PA-C

Jon "Wes" Haney is a native of Ada, OK attending both Ada High School and East Central University for his undergraduate studies where he earned a bachelor's degree in legal studies. While still in high school, he chose to serve our country by joining the Oklahoma Army National Guard Field Artillery and spent 6 years as a fire directional control specialist. Ultimately, he earned his veteran status and an honorable discharge after completing his post 9/11 tour of active duty performing homeland defense. Upon completion of his undergraduate studies and military service, he then chose to pursue a career in the field of medicine, attending the University Of Oklahoma College Of Medicine Physician Associate Program and graduating in December of 2012. Wes is currently a member of the Oklahoma Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Association of Physician Assistants. He is an avid OU fan, but loves just about any sport. He also enjoys hunting, fishing and spending quality time with his family and friends in Ada, where he still resides. Wes looks forward to continuing FHCSO's mission of providing quality healthcare to southeastern Oklahoma for many years to come.

Medical Providers - Atoka Office

A. Lance Yarbrough, M.D.

Dr. Yarbrough was born and raised in Atoka, Oklahoma. He attended East Central University and then the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He was one of only 2 graduates per year from OU Health Sciences Center in Tulsa that was specifically trained in rural medicine. He is married to his wife Kelly and has 1 son and 2 daughters.

David Fisher, PA-C

David Fisher was born in central Ohio. He enlisted in the US Army in 1973 and began his career as an Army Field Medic. He later became an LPN and continued on to receive his Physician Assistant degree. In addition to his stateside assignments, he has been to Korea, Germany, and Panama (with a 2 month hitch in El Salvador), and he served in the Persian Gulf War. He is married to his lovely wife, Deb, and has 2 sons.

Mental Health Providers - Tishomingo Office

Reubin Wigdor, Ph.D.

Reubin Wigdor, Ph. D. was born in the Bronx, New York. He spent two years in the medical corps in Fort Still, Oklahoma from January 1957 to January 1959. He earned an M.S. degree in biology and chemistry at Fairleigh Dickenson University in Teaneck, NJ in 1964 then an M.A. degree in Psychology at the same university in 1966. He did research at New York University Medical School from 1963 to 1968, two years in the Department of Neurosurgery and four years in the Department of Neurophysiology. He returned to Oklahoma to earn his Ph. D. from the University of Oklahoma in 1971. His major area of study was Learning and Motivation and minored in Physiological Psychology. He spent 34 years on the faculty of East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, retiring as chair of the Psychology Department in 1971. He is a licensed psychologist and a licensed professional counselor in Oklahoma, and has been in private practice and consulting in Oklahoma for the past 30 years. He enjoys the outdoors, fishing and traveling.

Sharon Teafatiller, MBS, LPC, LADC

Sharon Teafatiller, MBS, LPC, LADC was born in Arkansas but raised in eastern Oklahoma. She moved with her family to Durant in 1966. She graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with her Bachelor's Degree in 1985 with a major in psychology and minor in business administration. She earned her Masters of Behavioral Studies in Psychology in 1987. She earned her license as a professional counselor in 1996 and her license as an Alcohol/Drug Counselor in 2005. She has worked in outpatient community mental health since 1979 providing counseling to primarilyy adult consumers. She has been affiliated with the Veteran's Administration and provided counseling to combat veterans since 1994. Sharon and her husband moved to rural Johnston County in 1998. Sharon enjoys working in her flower gardens and greenhouse; she enjoys reading and fishing.

Melissa Dewbre, LPC

Melissa was born in southern Oklahoma and raised in Ringling, where she graduated high school in 2005. She graduated from East Central University in 2009 with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology and a minor in Business. She continued with her education at East Central University and obtained her Master's of Science in Psychological Services in 2011. She completed her supervision requirements in 2013, and has since been practicing as a licensed professional counselor. She enjoys being outdoors, staying physically active, and reading good books.

Cheri Cantrell, LPC

Cheri Cantrell, MS LPC was born and raised in Washington State where she earned a BA Degree from the University of Washington. She moved to Atoka Oklahoma approximately 12 years ago where she earned a Masters in Clinical Mental Health from Walden University. She has worked in the field of mental health in various capacities for the last 20 plus years. She completed her 3000 supervision hours for LPC in 2018 and passed LPC Board exams in 2018. Her specialty is adult and geriatric populations. She is an avid animal lover, loves movies, and enjoys the outdoors.

Amy Buford, LADC/MH, LPC

Amy Buford is from Harrah, Oklahoma and graduated from Harrah High School in 1999. She earned a Bachelor in Psychology in 2005 and earned a Master of Education Degree in 2011 from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Amy has worked substance abuse field since 2010 and began working with mental health disorders in 2013. Amy completed her supervision requirements and obtained LADC/MH licensure in 2013. She became a board approved LADC/MH supervisor in 2016. She completed supervision requirements and obtained LPC licensure in 2016. Amy has a passion to see people move into recovery from their substance abuse and/or mental health disorder(s). She has had the opportunity to do mission work in the United States and looks forward to future mission opportunities. She enjoys traveling with her family, reading, and growing professionally.

Mental Health Providers - Coalgate/Atoka Offices

Trisha Swift, LPC

Trisha was raised in Coalgate where she graduated high school in 2006. She graduated from East Central University in 2009 with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice. She continued with her education at East Central University and obtained her Master's of Science in Psychological Services degree in 2011. She completed her licensure supervision requirements in 2014 and has been practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor since then. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, reading, and traveling.

Karie Shannon, LPC

Karie was born in Denison, TX and raised in Silo right outside of Durant, OK. She graduated from Silo High School in 1995. She graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 2000 with a Bachelor's of Science in Education. She obtained her Master's Degree in School Counseling in December 2003. Karie taught special education from 2001-2009. In 2007 she continued her education at East Central University to obtain her Certification to become a School Psychologist, which she completed in 2009. She worked as a Special Education Director and School Psychologist for the next 3 years until 2013 when she applied to undergo Supervision for to be a Licensed Professional Counselor. She completed her licensure supervision requirements in 2015 and has been practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor since then. In early 2017, Karie obtained her National Counseling Certification from the National Board of Certified Counselors. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and loves watching her daughter play soccer.

Oral Health Providers - Tishomingo Office

Shanetha Collier, DDS

Shanetha Collier is a native of Durant, Oklahoma and a graduate of Durant High School. She attended Oklahoma State University, where she obtained a bachelor of science degree in chemistry with honors. From there she attended and recently graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. While in school, Shanetha had the opportunity to travel to Peru and Mexico for medical mission trips and is looking forward to continuing this type of mission alongside her career. She is excited to be joining the team at FHCSO Tishomingo and looks forward to helping patients with their dental needs. Currently, Shanetha holds memberships with the Oklahoma Dental Association and the American Dental Association. She is an avid OSU fan and enjoys attending sporting events, spending time with family and friends, and traveling in her spare time.

Ollie Logan Beard, DDS

Dr. Beard is from Madill, OK, where his father also practiced dentistry. He attended the University of Oklahoma in Norman where he received his Bachelor of Science degree and graduated with honors. After that, he received his dental degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. Dr. Beard is a member of the Oklahoma Dental Association and the American Dental Association. Dr. Beard enjoys shotgun shooting, hunting, and being around friends and family in his spare time.

Brent Haynes, DDS

Brent Haynes, D.D.S. was born in Midwest City, Oklahoma and raised around the OKC metro area. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2008 with distinction in Mechanical Engineering. In 2012, he traded airplanes for teeth as he left the engineering field to pursue his dental training at OU Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. Before coming to Tishomingo, he worked in Oklahoma City and volunteered at the Good Shepherd Dental Clinic in downtown OKC where he had the honor to care for those in need. He has enjoyed dental missions ever since he traveled with the Christian Dental Society to Jamaica, where they performed extractions, root canals, and fillings. When he is not in the clinic, he enjoys serving at his church, playing the drums (everything except country, sorry), fitness, all things OU, soccer, dog whispering, and vicariously living through other's travels.

Angela Coleman, DDS

Dr. Angela Goodman Coleman was born in Omaha, Nebraska and raised in Port Arthur, Texas . Since the age of 11, Dr. Coleman knew that she wanted to be a dentist, so she set out to make that dream a reality. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Port Arthur and received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Dillard University in New Orleans, Louisiana. After receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2000, she made San Antonio her home.

In 2003 she opened her own practice and warm-heartedly welcomed patients for 10 years . After selling her practice in 2013, she worked in various corporate practice settings and has now decided to continue her career in public health. Dr. Coleman is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry(AGD) and the National Dental Association(NDA). She is dedicated to keeping up with the latest advancements in dentistry through continuing education, in order to always provide her patients with the best quality of care.

Dr. Coleman enjoys mentoring young girls and being a positive role model for them. Prior to moving to Tishomingo, Dr. Coleman was actively involved in her local church and often participated in community health fairs. She is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and enjoys participating in community service projects with the organization. When not practicing dentistry, Dr Coleman enjoys spending time with her husband Derrick. They enjoy traveling, listening to live jazz, cooking new recipes and spending quality time with friends and family. Dr. Coleman is looking forward to joining the FHCSO Tishomingo team!
